How We Can Help
For over 42 years, the Greater Washington County Food Bank, a non-profit organization, has been providing groceries and nutritional information/education to food insecure residents of Washington County. We distribute food through our network of 38 distribution sites (13 public sites and 18 senior hi-rise/apartment locations) and with agencies throughout the county.
Mission
To form lasting solutions to hunger insecurity through effective food distribution systems; to educate and empower the needy in seeking positive lifestyle changes; and, to create awareness through individual and community partnerships.
Food Programs
Greater Washington County Food Bank distributes food to in rural areas, food deserts, for seniors 60+, as well as individualized solutions for short-term needs. Learn more about each program, including our Community Outreach Food Program.

Food Helpers
Weakening the chain of events that leads to food insecurity. Located in Brownsville PA, Food Helpers is home to four unique programs: Greater Washington Co. Food Bank, Healthy Habits Training Center, Country Thrift Market, and The FARM.
